Gash over the eye! Professional footballer gives coach a nasty cut
Hartberg (Austria) - Footballers suffering gashes to the head or eyes from blood is something you see almost every week. This time, however, it happened to a coach, and the culprit was even his own player.

The match between TSV Hartberg and Grazer AK in the Austrian Bundesliga produced a curious scene.
After the supposed 1:0 for Graz by Tio Cipot (22) in the 8th minute of the match was disallowed after a VAR check, the hosts took the lead less than a minute later.
Donis Avdiji (28) played a great pass from the center circle to Dominik Prokop (27), who made it 1:0. The joy of the man who provided the pass was so great that he ran straight to his coach Manfred Schmid (54) and hugged him.
Then Furkan Demir (20) jumped on top of them. Avdijaj's head slammed into the coach's skull and he was suddenly bleeding above the eye.
"I know that he has a stubborn head. But I didn't know he had such a hard head. We'll talk about that later," the injured party explained to Sky Austria with a wink .
As a player, Manfred Schmid often suffered a cut, but not yet on the touchline

Schmid was a player himself, including at Austria Vienna. He won the championship three times and won the cup three times.
"I've often had a cut during games, but not when I was celebrating victory on the touchline," said the ex-professional. The wound was closed with two staples and Schmid continued coaching on the sidelines as if nothing had happened.
What worsened his mood more than the cut was the fact that Cipot scored after the supposed 1:0 to make it 1:1 in the 36th minute.
There were no more goals. The coach will probably still have a little headache the evening after the game.
At the next game, Avdijaj will certainly think twice about celebrating an assist or a goal with such euphoric jubilation.
