Tragic suicide! Football talent takes his own life after being chased
Houston (Texas/USA) - A terrible drama has taken place in the USA surrounding a talented American footballer . Kyren Lacy (†24), who was on his way to the NFL , is dead. The circumstances are tragic.

The wide receiver was found lifeless in his car on Saturday after causing an accident. Officers then discovered that the 24-year-old had gunshot wounds, which he had apparently inflicted on himself beforehand.
The police had taken up the pursuit of Talent after his own family alerted the officers. According to the report, Lacy shot into the ground during a loud argument.
When the police arrived at the scene, the footballer had fled, so they took up the pursuit. In the end, the 24-year-old could only be confirmed dead.
"We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former LSU football student Kyren Lacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones, as well as his former teammates and coaches who are devastated by his death," Louisiana State University wrote in a statement.
American football: Kyren Lacy was charged with involuntary manslaughter, hit-and-run and reckless driving

Lacy's suicide may have a particularly violent background.
This Monday, a jury was due to begin hearing evidence in a trial against him. The 24-year-old was charged with involuntary manslaughter, hit-and-run and reckless driving.
The footballer is alleged to have caused a serious car accident in December 2024 in which a man (†78) was killed. Lacy fled the scene of the accident, but turned himself in to the police weeks later.
Nevertheless, he would probably have had a good chance of being drafted into the NFL in two weeks' time. It is unclear whether his career would have continued in the event of a possible conviction.
The family, his friends and former teammates must now somehow come to terms with the tragic loss and will never get an answer to the questions of "why".
TAG24 does not normally report on suicides. However, as the incident took place in a public space, the editorial team decided to make it a topic of discussion after all.
