New experiment in space: Suddenly this astronaut can be seen without pants

ISS (space) - I wonder if this is the funniest astronaut on the International Space Station (ISS)? Donald R. Pettit (69) is always up for a laugh. In his latest stunt, he shows the world the right way to put on pants.

And "Ta-Da!": Donald R. Petit (69) shows how quickly you can put on pants in space.

Last Sunday, the scientist posted a video on Twitter with the caption: "Okay, you all asked if it was possible ..." In the small clip, all you can see at first is a pair of trousers "standing" in a part of the ISS.

Suddenly Donald "Don" Pettit floats up from a tube from above. But what is that? Is "Don" just wearing a T-shirt and a pair of underpants? But less than two seconds later, he slides both legs into his trouser legs at the same time with pinpoint accuracy, briefly fastens the button and zipper and then: "Ta-Da!" The pants were put on in record time.

The comments under his video also take the action with a great deal of humor. One user writes: "After months of research on the ISS, the really important experiments are about to begin!"

Others are already suggesting the next challenge for "Don": "Next task: let the pants fly towards you and then try to put them on!"

Donald R. Pettit is not only an astronaut, but also a photographer

Donald has been an astronaut since 1996 and is currently on the ISS for the second time. His current mission started on September 9 last year and is expected to last six months.

During this time, he will carry out experiments in space together with his colleagues. But in addition to science, "Don" also has another passion: photography.

He regularly shares all the beautiful natural phenomena and celestial spectacles he is able to capture from space with his fans on Instagram and Twitter.
