The US American has been documenting the events she experiences on a daily basis on her TikTok account for some time now. But since last week, she has been attracting particular attention with one of her videos. 3.6 million clicks have been accumulated since then.

The reason: the video appears to be haunted in several shots. Things hanging from the ceiling, such as fan belts, swing back and forth as if by magic.

The door in the attic closes as if by itself. According to Kayleigh, even jewelry disappears from her casket and reappears elsewhere in the house. There are also unexplained footsteps that can be heard.

Newsweek contacted the homeowner this week to find out more about her "creepy house".

"So far I've heard footsteps upstairs, TVs turning on, music boxes playing by themselves, knocks in the living room, rocking chairs moving, and our Ring camera has captured some bizarre things in the attic, like the door moving by itself," the 31-year-old told the US magazine.

The worst thing for her is when things go missing, but luckily they have always turned up so far, Kayleigh said.

Meanwhile, she can certainly understand doubts about her curious explanations: "Some people tried to explain the things swirling around from the ceiling by saying it was a draught because it's an old house, which makes sense. But it happens in every room, every day, all year round, at random times."

She went on to tell the news portal: "You could also argue that it's mice, which would explain the strange noises. But we never find droppings and have never seen any."

Whether the woman is ultimately just trying to show off to generate clicks or whether her house is actually haunted remains to be seen. The truth is probably out there somewhere ...
