Mother writes e-mail to teacher because daughter is being bullied: What happens next delights everyone
Dallas (Texas, USA) - Jennifer Mullen's life as a mother of four is pretty turbulent. Because her then six-year-old daughter was being bullied at school, the American wrote an email to the teacher. She made an embarrassing mistake, which later turned out to be absolutely right.

In a video on TikTok , which has been clicked on almost 576,000 times so far, Jennifer reported on her unpleasant email experience a few years ago.
Her child had just started school and had already been bullied and even beaten by a classmate of the same age in first grade. "The bullying was constant, so I held my daughter in my arms every day and just had enough," she told Newsweek.
So the mother-of-four decided to write an email to her class teacher.
It said: "My daughter has been telling us for weeks that a certain student has been bullying her. We have tried to teach her how to deal with the situation. [...], but the bullying has gotten worse. Could you please transfer my daughter? We would also like to work on a solution to stop the bullying."

Users celebrate Jennifer's commitment as a mom

When she clicked on the "Send" button, her breath suddenly caught in her throat: the email was not only sent to the teacher, but inadvertently to all the parents in the entire class. "Even to the bully's parents," Jennifer says in the clip.
But her supposed mistake paid off a little later. The family of the bullied pupil soon contacted Jennifer, apologized and assured her that they would not tolerate such behaviour.
The bullying did indeed end - but only temporarily. The girl is now said to be attending a different school.
TikTok users celebrated the way Jennifer stood up for her daughter. "Everything happens for a reason, and the parents of the bully were informed," wrote one user.
