Australia - A young Australian woman wanted to get to the root of a hairy problem and have her intimate area freshened up. She went for a Brazilian waxing. What she experienced after her appointment left the 27-year-old stunned.

Sarah Button was shocked. After she had just had her pubic hair removed with warm wax and arrived back home, a message popped up on her cell phone.

"I'm sorry, dear, but in future I'll have to charge you more because of the size of the area. I hope that makes sense to you! Nothing crazy, maybe an extra five to ten dollars," the message read. Sender: Sarah's beautician.

"At first I was sad and confused, ashamed, but that quickly turned to anger and I was just pissed about the whole thing," the 27-year-old told news.com.au.

Why hadn't the waxing specialist told her about the price hike during her appointment? "That's what annoyed me the most," Sarah said.
