Barranquilla (Colombia) - Pop singer Shakira (48) celebrated carnival with her sons in her Colombian hometown of Barranquilla.

The 48-year-old posted videos and a photo of herself and her two sons in skeleton costumes and colorful masks on Instagram . "I am proud to pass on my culture and the joy of my country to my children," she wrote.
According to reports, the family mingled with the revellers at the night parade "La Guacherna", which marks the start of carnival - and were recognized by fans. Photos of the singer with fans circulated on X .
Shakira had previously performed in the Caribbean city as part of her world tour - for the first time in almost 20 years, according to Billboard.
With more than 100 million albums sold, streaming records and an estimated fortune of 300 million US dollars , Shakira is the most successful Latin musician in history.

Some concerts of the world tour already canceled
Just last Tuesday, it was reported that the pop icon had to interrupt her planned world tour. She was admitted to a Peruvian hospital with severe pain in her abdominal region. After her release, a concert in Medellín (Colombia) was scheduled.
This also had to be canceled, but not because Shakira was still ill, but because part of the roof was damaged during the construction of the stage.
