Seoul (South Korea) - South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron , who starred in the drama series "Bloodhounds" released on Netflix in 2023 , has been found dead, according to media reports.

Kim Sae-ron, one of South Korea's most promising actresses, has died suddenly at the age of just 24.

According to the South Korean news platform Naver News, the actress was found lifeless in her apartment by a friend on Sunday afternoon.

The exact cause of death remains unclear, but the police have announced that there are no indications that she was not at fault. A suicide cannot be ruled out.

However, the investigation is still ongoing.

Kim Sae-ron began her career at the age of nine and was considered an up-and-coming talent.

In 2010, she took on the lead role in the action thriller The Man from Nowhere, the most successful film of the year in South Korea.

She has also starred in numerous series, most recently in the popular Netflix series Bloodhounds in 2023.

In April 2023, however, her career suffered a serious setback: she was fined around 13,000 euros after causing a car accident under the influence of alcohol in 2022.

Since then, the 24-year-old has withdrawn from the public eye.
