Fire in Los Angeles: Beyoncé donates mega sum
Los Angeles (California/USA) - The terrible fires in Los Angeles still have Southern California fully in their grip. There are currently 15,000 helpers at work, more than 12,000 buildings have been destroyed so far and the fires have claimed 24 lives . It is a tragedy that has not left the city's stars and starlets indifferent.

It was announced on Monday that the Oscar nominations, which already had to be postponed once due to the fires, will be postponed again - this time to January 17. The Critics Choice Awards have also been moved to a new date, and Meghan Markle's (43) Netflix show "With love, Meghan" will premiere later than planned.
R&B artist The Weeknd (34) has now announced on Instagram that he will be canceling his concert in Pasadena (in L.A. County) on January 31. This would have taken place on January 25. The reason: "Out of respect and concern for the people of Los Angeles County."
But not only that. He also explained that his album, which was originally due to be released on January 24, will not be released until January 31.
"My focus is still on supporting the rebuilding of these communities and helping the incredible people who have to rebuild everything there," says Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, the real name of the "Blinding Lights" singer.
