The Mirror reported that a "very famous" co-star had to be hospitalized after suffering pelvic and leg injuries in an accident.

It was not revealed which celebrity was involved. However, production with the working title "Judy" had to be halted. The action drama, in which Tom Cruise takes on the role of a megalomaniac, is due to be released in cinemas in 2026.

In addition to Cruise, the film will also feature John Goodman (72), Jesse Plemons (36), Riz Ahmed (42) and other stars .

A source close to Pinewood Studios claimed: "The actor in question is known to love spectacular stunts, which of course involve a certain amount of danger and risk of injury." This sounds suspiciously like Cruise himself, but can only be speculated at present.

The film will be directed by Oscar-winner Alejandro González Iñárritu (61), who is returning to English-language films after the acclaimed "The Revenant" from 2015 .
