Doppelganger competition: Which winner here gets 9500 euros from the original

Canada - Time and again, "lookalike competitions" are held to see who looks most like a celebrity. This was also the case with Drake (38) - and he gave the winner around 9500 euros!

Last Saturday, the contest took place in the Canadian hometown of the "God's Plan" singer, Toronto.

As Page Six reported, a local bakery organized the contest. Shortly after they announced the contest, the 38-year-old wrote them a message on Instagram saying he would donate "10 bands" (colloquial for 10,000 dollars) grand prize.

The eventual winner was Makayla Chambers, who showed up to the event with two pigtails - inspired by Drake's look from earlier this year - as well as a fake goatee, an oversized beige sweater and black pants.

"Girl Drake" beat out several other contestants who dressed up as different versions of the artist.

An influencer put together a video with the various disguises and posted it on Instagram .

The participants included "Ozempic Drake", "Denim Drake" and "Durag Drake".

The rapper is said to have shared one of the videos himself, writing: "I love this city."

The lookalike competitions first gained attention in October when there was a competition in New York for Timothée Chalamet (28).

The "Dune" actor surprisingly turned up to the contest himself and spent time with some fans.
