Los Angeles (USA) - A picture with her children in the bathtub was too much for her followers. Chrissy Teigen (39) had to defend herself against harsh criticism on Instagram .

On Instagram, the US model showed intimate moments with her children, whom she has together with husband John Legend (46). However, the excerpts from her family life were not well received by all fans.

One photo in particular, in which Teigen poses naked with her children in a bathtub, caused many negative reactions and sometimes massive criticism.

While some praised the post as inspiring, especially for mothers, others found it highly inappropriate.

"Children deserve privacy too," commented one user, while another asked: "Isn't your eldest son a bit too big to be bathing with his naked mother?"

Other followers criticized the "dirty water", whereupon Teigen explained that it was a coconut milk bath, which is good for sensitive skin.

Teigen reacted calmly to the criticism from her followers and explained that baths at home are not actually for bathing, but rather for relaxation and care.

Incidentally, this was not the first time she had divided opinion with her bathing routine.

Just last year, her husband shared a video showing his wife washing off her "body make-up" in the bath, which some users found unsightly.
