After a series of expletives, which are omitted here, Madi blurts out: "I think I'm in love!"

This emotional outburst, paired with a confession of love, has reached more than nine million clicks on TikTok since the end of March. An additional 4.4 million have been added on Instagram since last week.

The salt in the soup: nine months have passed since Madi appeared on the doorstep.

In fact, the US-American 's account features videos showing her with a young man with whom she is definitely in a relationship.

In an interview with Newsweek, Madi now explained that her viral hit is about exactly this man, with whom she has now been dating for nine months.

Joshua gave her a feeling of security on their third date that she had never experienced with another man before. "He also has such a calming, peaceful energy that it's addictive to be around him," she told the US magazine.

Madi also appreciates her current partner so much because she had experienced the exact opposite before him. "My previous relationship was full of lies, slander and manipulation. It was anything but calm and peaceful," she said.

"I was afraid that falling in love again would disrupt this peace that I had worked so hard to achieve," the waitress said, explaining her flight from the front door.
