In the middle of the night, shortly before two o'clock in the morning, Natalie woke up, not knowing what had happened. The next morning, she checked her pet camera, which had been filming the bedroom all night. What she saw in the recording didn't make it any better at first.

To share it with the world, Natalie uploaded the crucial scene to her TikTok account at the end of January. Since then, the clip has made huge waves.

In it, the woman's cat , Mr. Meowagi, crawls along the bottom edge of the bed. He has to dig his claws deep into the fabric to hold himself up.

The American woman couldn't believe her eyes when she saw it. "At first I thought it looked like a giant spider," she explained in an interview with Newsweek this week.

When she realized it was just her cat, Natalie calmed down. However, she had never seen him do anything like that before.

Nevertheless, she has a theory as to why the cat was behaving so strangely that night.

"I recently rescued a little kitten, and they love to play, especially at one in the morning," the TikToker told the US magazine.

"I had to kick the little one out of the room so I could sleep." Mr. Meowagi probably wanted to wake her up so he could play with the fur nose.

In any case, the curious behavior of the house cat is very well received on TikTok. There are almost one million likes for every four million clicks.

Natalie can now also laugh about the incident, especially about one detail: "After I sat up, he ran around the room and it looked like he was pretending he hadn't done anything."
