Palma (Spain) - Shock at a cemetery in Spain : As morticians were preparing the funeral of an elderly woman, one of the staff suddenly became aware of a shocking detail.

The woman had previously been taken to the "Juan March de Buñvola" hospital in Bunyola , north of Palma, after her health deteriorated rapidly. There, the doctors finally pronounced her dead.

She was then placed in a body bag and taken from the mortuary to a local cemetery, where her burial was to be prepared.

As"Birmingham Live" reports, the cemetery worker there noticed that something was moving in the body bag.

When the mortician opened the bag, he saw the fingers of the woman, who was presumed dead, twitching. He immediately checked her vital signs and found a pulse.

The emergency services were alerted immediately and took the woman back to hospital.

It was confirmed there that the Spanish woman was indeed still alive.

The current status of the patient is not known. The police have begun investigating the unbelievable incident.
