Woman finds Gucci bag at flea market: when she hears the price, she almost keels over
Los Angeles (California) - She'll never give this bag back! At the end of March, Kristin Crosby somewhat reluctantly went with her husband to a small flea market set up in a garage in her new home town of Los Angeles. There, to her surprise, she discovered a Gucci handbag. When Crosby asked the saleswoman for the price, she couldn't believe her ears.

This week, the New Californian, who hails from Seattle, spoke to Newsweek about her curious experience: "My husband loves thrift stores and flea markets. But I don't like it at all, so it's definitely not my thing."
Nevertheless, she was persuaded to visit the flea market with her husband, says Crosby. "We were in a nice neighborhood with big houses, and an older woman was out selling stuff with her whole family and kids."
When the American woman saw the Gucci bag, her mood suddenly changed. Together with her husband, she set herself a limit of 150 US dollars (just under 135 euros).
"When I asked how much and she said 10 dollars, I almost fainted," explained Crosby. But it got even better.

Before the slightest suspicion could arise that it was just a cheap imitation, Crosby discovered the authentication cards in the bag. So the mega bargain really did appear to be genuine!
Of course, the lucky customer went for it and took her find home with her. There she got straight down to researching it. The bag was from the 1990s and had been designed by Tom Ford.
"Depending on their condition and color, they sell for between 600 and 2500 dollars online," Crosby told the US magazine.
However, reselling is out of the question for her: "It's a one-off find and I have to keep it forever, just so I can show it off. Besides, I really love the bag."
