London (England) - She actually only wanted to capture her first attempts at climbing on video. But instead, Bridey Chase (30) from London captured a moment that would change her life forever.

In a TikTok video last week, she presented the decisive turning point. "Three, two, one", it says. Then the boulderer falls to the soft floor of her training hall.

Finally, a young man comes up to her and asks if everything is alright. As it turned out afterwards, Chase had captured the moment she met the love of her life.

In the video, a cut follows showing the two climbing fans in the great outdoors sharing an intimate embrace - the rest, as they say, is history.

Nevertheless,Newsweek caught up with the British woman this week to find out more romantic details of their love story.

"I had seen Lance in the gym, but we never had the chance to speak. It sounds funny, but I don't think I really had him in my sights until that moment, he was always a bit out of focus," the Londoner admitted to the US magazine.

However, she immediately noticed his friendliness. That's why she quickly went on a date with the likeable Lance Naude (28).

"We became friends first and started climbing together in London and outside in nature. I think you really trust the people you climb with. For this reason, a natural bond of trust, support and just plain fun developed," says the 30-year-old.

It was only after a climbing competition that Lance confessed to her that he had fallen in love with her. "Since that day, we've been inseparable. We love climbing together and it was a great surprise to find this video and realize that our first meeting was filmed," says the Englishwoman happily today.
