Antalya (Turkey) - A wild Pokémon has been spotted in the course of protests against Turkish ruler Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (71).
The man dressed as Pikachu was at the forefront of a demonstration in the port city of Antalya.
Footage showing the yellow mythical creature fleeing from the police crackdown is currently amusing the internet.
The reason for the anti-Erdogan protests is actually a serious one: last Sunday, the mayor of the metropolis of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoğlu (53), was arrested . Imamoğlu is considered a great opponent of Erdogan.
Since then, the protests on the streets of Turkey have continued unabated and hundreds of people have already been arrested by the police.
