When her cab driver is suddenly unwell, this woman doesn't hesitate for a second

Delhi (India) - Perhaps many of us have had the thought process of what we would do if the driver of the cab we were traveling in suddenly became unwell. One woman from India knew immediately what to do and didn't hesitate for a second. Her reaction earned her a lot of appreciation online.

The woman, who is active on Instagram as "Amaayra", shared a video a few days ago in which she can be seen with her family in an Uber. What is immediately noticeable, however, is that the Indian woman is not sitting in the back seat as expected, but behind the wheel of the car.

According to News18, Amaayra was traveling with her daughter, mother and grandmother in the car booked by the foreign driver when the man suddenly became unwell.

From one moment to the next, the passengers were somehow stuck in a traffic jam far away from their destination. That's why the mother of a daughter spontaneously came up with a crazy idea: "We were on our way from Gurugram when the driver fell ill in the middle of the journey," explains Amaayra in her video. "So I had to take over."

The sick Uber driver was unceremoniously placed in the back seat and Amaayra got behind the wheel.

Video of selfless action goes viral on Instagram

Woman is praised on the Internet

The journey could therefore continue - albeit in a different way than expected. It is not known whether the Indian woman simply drove herself and her relatives to the original destination and the stranger then continued on his own.

After her actions, however, it is to be expected that she drove the patient to a doctor. On Instagram, Amaayra says that everyone should learn to drive in order to be able to help "someone in need".

Amaayra is celebrated on the internet for her decision to continue driving the car. Other women are "proud" of her selfless nature, others write that the world remains a good place because of people like her.

However, many users criticize the fact that the Indian woman had to film her actions herself while she was at the wheel. What's more, apart from her and her grandmother in the passenger seat, none of the passengers were wearing seatbelts.
