Weeks after funeral service: Family of deceased makes horror discovery
Kansas City (USA) - As if the unexpected death of a mother from the US state of Missouri wasn 't tragic enough, the family of the deceased had to make an unbelievably horrific discovery at the funeral home. The funeral home was supposed to take care of the cremation of the American woman.

Princess died unexpectedly at the age of 34, leaving behind a total of nine children. Her family then took care of a dignified burial, opting for cremation.
However, the relatives were soon to regret their choice of funeral home.
According to People, it began with mistakes in the obituary and a late appearance at the funeral service. When the director of the institute was confronted, he didn't even know the name of the deceased.
Weeks later, the relatives were still waiting to receive the ashes of their beloved relative.
When they visited the funeral home in person, Princess' sister and aunt made a horrifying discovery that they will never be able to forget: Looking through the window of the business, they saw several uncovered, decomposing corpses among piles of garbage. One of the rotting corpses looked terribly familiar to the two women.
Family discovers decomposed body of their loved one

Although the decomposition was already well advanced due to the weeks of storage and Princess was barely recognizable, the relatives quickly knew that it was their deceased family member. "You had to look at her hands or her tattoo to recognize who she was. That was very traumatic for me," said one of the women.
"The bodies were in there, along with garbage," recalled the aunt of the deceased. "Rubbish everywhere. It's madness." When she tried to clarify the situation with the company, the manager called the police directly. The American woman then filed a complaint with the supervisory authority.
The company in Kansas City was not unknown to the Missouri Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. As the funeral home had already got into difficulties five years ago, it was on probation.
While the company is being investigated, Princess' family is trying to finally give the deceased a final resting place. As the deceased had no life insurance and her relatives have already paid around 3,000 dollars (the equivalent of around 2,600 euros) for the funeral, they are dependent on donations.
They are now collecting moneyon a GoFundMe page to cover the costs of another funeral home.
