China - Japanese tourists had a stupid idea during their visit to the Great Wall of China. Their disrespect ultimately led to them being thrown out of the country.

According to an AFP report, the two were detained for two weeks at the beginning of January because they were unable to behave at the famous world heritage site.

The reason: a young man exposed his bottom while his companion took photos of it.

As they had violated Chinese law, they were arrested on the spot. After their release, the couple had to return directly to Japan.

The two pranksters told the Japanese embassy that it was just a joke.

The embassy remained silent on specific details of the case or any further consequences for its two citizens.
