Maine (USA) - Teacher Tori Hildreth was already looking forward to getting home from school last Tuesday. But for the US-American, the school bell didn't ring at the time she had hoped for - she had detention!

Because shortly after 2 p.m., something happened that the young woman hadn't even thought about a few hours earlier.

Hildreth drove to class in the morning as normal. Not alone, however, but with child number two on board. Or rather: in her belly! Because the teacher was heavily pregnant.

Until after midday, she taught her students at Old Town High School (OTHS) what they needed to do to find the right career for after school. Then suddenly she went into labor and events came thick and fast!

According to OTHS, the school nurse and school policeman took care of Hildreth and then informed her mother. Finally, the trio joined forces to lead the pregnant woman out of the high school in the US state of Maine.

In the school parking lot, the baby was no longer in the mood for the darkness in her stomach. And so it came as it had to: daughter Bella Reese was born in Hildreth's mother's parked car.

But the day of curiosities didn't end there! In the meantime, the emergency services arrived on the school grounds. At the wheel: Hildreth's father Mike, who, according to a report by WABI 5, immediately burst into tears!

He was then able to greet his little granddaughter on the spot, congratulate his daughter and give his own wife a kiss.

Only Bella's biological father was missing from the big happiness. He saw his little princess later in hospital and only found out about his wife's crazy day at school in the clinic.
