Police officer punishes daughter (6) in a blatant way! He answers the emergency call himself
Logansport (USA) - Can you be a good police officer if you can't even keep law and order in your own four walls in an appropriate manner? What Cody Scott put his daughter (6) through to punish her is causing horror in the US state of Indiana. Eyewitnesses even called 911 - to which Scott then answered the phone himself!

Cody and his wife Kylie Scott have since been charged with child neglect, People reported on Saturday evening (local time), citing local media.
On Jan. 19 of this year, according to court documents, 911 was called in the town of Logansport because eyewitnesses had seen a little girl out in the cold.
The 6-year-old, who was later identified as the Scotts' daughter, was holding a poster that read, "I want to stab and kill my brother, I'm even taking an antipsychotic. If you have pity, give it to the victims."
The cops who responded to the 911 call? Cody Scott and his supervisor, of all people! "This baby is standing out here in the freezing cold with a sign," an eyewitness is reported to have said to the cops, according to Fox 59 .
Body cam footage allegedly shows Scott responding, "Well, sir, other than cruelly physically beating her, I haven't found any other punishment that helps with her."

Accused police officer claims: Daughter wanted to destroy things in the house
He immediately followed up with the alleged reason for his extreme punishments: "She threatened to kill my family, she wants to embarrass us, she wants to pee on herself and destroy things in the house," the US American claimed.
An Indiana State Police officer later viewed the footage and eventually contacted Child Protective Services so that an investigation could be launched. Scott was relieved of his police duties in January. The six-year-old reported other disproportionate punishments during the investigation.
However, Cody Scott and his wife pleaded not guilty in court this week. The trial is scheduled to take place on September 22.
