USA - This TikTok video has been going viral for a few days: the reason for this is the very different reactions of two parents to the news that their daughter is pregnant. Kassidy Richardson (26) had expected this. But she was still amazed at her father.

What a curious video from the USA ! While dad Brian sits on a rock, completely dejected, with his hands over his head, his wife Kiley is completely beside herself, jumping for joy with the ultrasound pictures.

The two could hardly be more different in the way they deal with the news that they are going to be grandparents for the first time. But they have much more in common than the clip suggests.

"As it's their first grandchild, I knew they would be so excited. They just show their excitement in very different ways," the mother-to-be Kassidy Richardson (26) explained in an interview with Newsweek.

"I knew my dad would need a minute to process his excitement. He's a man of few words - he's a very sensitive man with a tough exterior," said the pregnant woman.

But one thing also unsettled her.

"I can't believe he almost fainted and had to sit down," Kassidy admitted to the US magazine.

She and her husband Jake (26) are expecting their first son. And even if it doesn't look like it in the video: The future grandparents are both very much looking forward to their first grandchild.

Kassidy is also delighted with the success of her video. 7.7 million clicks have been accumulated on TikTok in the past two weeks, plus 1.4 million likes.

"We've received so much love and positivity from everyone online. It's been fun to read everyone's thoughts and congratulations! We feel very loved," says the 26-year-old.
