New Hampshire (USA) - She was completely wrong with her first guess. For weeks, Jules believed that her husband Corey had suggested the name for their daughter from the Twilight novels. But then he confessed the truth to her before the birth.

Corey really wanted his first daughter to be called Senna - just like a character from the vampire saga. The couple from New Hampshire quickly agreed that the idea was a good one. The only thing the father-to-be didn't have a clue about was Twilight.

"I spent a few days trying to think of names that would go with Senna as a middle name," the now-mother said in an interview with Newsweek this week.

After a few weeks, however, she came back to the subject - and asked where her partner got the name from, Jules told the US magazine.

In the end, Corey admitted that he had actually had a man from Formula 1 in mind.

The US-American was thinking all the time about the legendary Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna, who died tragically at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.

His wife's reaction showed that he could have done without his secretiveness. Jules was immediately fascinated by the tragic story of the Formula 1 driver. She even read books about him. Partly because she "felt such a strong connection to the name".

Even when the parents-to-be found out in hospital that there was also a laxative called Senna, they were not dissuaded from their plans.

"His friends always laugh with him and ask him how he got me to name our daughter that, and he always hints that it was my idea. Because in a way, it was just weird coincidences that led to our daughter's name," Jules concluded to Newsweek.

Recently, the mother also posted a TikTok video about the story, which has since received 1.6 million views.
