Mother turns to her son early in the morning and can't believe what she sees
Troutman (USA) - Few parents are lucky enough for their children to be born late sleepers. For many, "sleeping in" after the birth of their offspring is a foreign concept. It gets interesting when the babies become toddlers who come up with the strangest ideas in the morning ...

Jessica Robertson from North Carolina was also woken up at an unpleasant time. The 30-year-old was woken up by her three-year-old son Nash, who first went out of the bedroom and then crawled back into the bed they shared.
When mother Jessica realized what her son was doing next to her shortly before 6 a.m., she was speechless at first: the toddler had gone to the fridge quite confidently and got his own breakfast without further ado.
You can probably guess that a three-year-old doesn't necessarily reach for healthy porridge, but what Nash had chosen was still surprising.
"It's 5:50 in the morning and you turn around and see your toddler eating a popsicle," Jessica writes on a video she made of the situation that day.

However, the US American made a conscious decision not to tell her son off. "He helped himself and, to be honest, I don't care," says Jessica about the unhealthy choice of breakfast.
In her tiredness, she would have weighed up whether she really wanted to expend the energy to start a discussion so early in the morning.
"When moms are that tired and sleepless, they have to pick their battles," she tells Newsweek. She also says it's important to her that her children grow up without fear of being scolded.
Surprisingly, the mother from Troutman received almost exclusively positive feedback on her clip on TikTok . "The fact that he feels comfortable doing this with you shows what a great mom you are," wrote one user in the comments section.
Others can also understand Jessica's reaction to the ice cream and praise her for keeping the peace at home.
