Mother leaves two-year-old alone for a short time: What her child does during this time leaves her stunned

Chicago (USA) - Little time, lots of trouble: last month, little Christian (2) from Chicago took his chance to create a "work of art" in his home in just a few minutes. The main victim was his mother Grace Kaage, who at least managed to turn the chaos into a viral hit.

In the quirky Instagram video, the cute prankster sits on a chair in the living room. He proudly tells his mother that he has been painting. When she wants to know where and what exactly, he takes her by the hand.

Shortly afterwards, the woman is struck dumb: Christian has painted the sofa, the armchairs, the table and his sister's soft toy red - and is delighted with his work.

The Instagram audience feels the same way, giving the clip more than 30 million clicks and a good 500,000 likes in just a few weeks.

"We use felt-tip pens to label our design inventory. I thought they were all hidden," Kaage explained in an interview with Newsweek.

But why had her son been unsupervised in the first place?

"He played with cars and his racetrack in the living room while I cooked dinner in the kitchen . It's not like he's in another room far away. I have a direct line of sight from the kitchen to the living room," Kaage told US Magazine.

But clearly she had lost sight of the opportunity to watch her son. After all, he was able to completely lose it for several minutes.

"I remember thinking, 'This is so nice, I finally have a moment to myself to cook, and everyone is quiet and happy. How nice." The two-year-old probably had a similar thought at that moment.

Unfortunately, he used it for his "furniture chaos". "I almost died," his mother admitted. However, she did not reveal whether she managed to get all the furniture clean again.
