Marine hears disturbing noises and suspects enemy activity: But then comes the surprise
Scotland - When the British navy was underway and heard strange signals, they feared they were being attacked by Russian drones. But it was a whale with flatulence!

The whale farts were picked up by two naval sensors monitoring the area for signs of hostile activity.
As reported by The Sun , the strange noises led to fears that a Russian drone submarine may have planted a listening device on the seabed off the coast of Scotland .
Analysts initially described them as man-made noises that had never been recorded in the history of the area.
One source explained that they initially took the sounds very seriously and had to assume the worst. Only a few days ago, two foreign civilian ships with underwater robots were sighted, which were suspected of damaging the British underwater cables.
However, a naval employee was able to give the all-clear: "We have analyzed the sounds and now believe it was a marine mammal. A whale."
A navy spokesman added: "We are constantly monitoring the waters to protect the UK."
