Florida (USA) - A loud scream, great horror: The reaction of Lena Huynh (21) was exactly the opposite of what her boyfriend had imagined. The poor guy only wanted to surprise her with a bouquet of flowers. What had gone wrong?

The video in which the botched reunion was captured has been going viral on TikTok since the beginning of the week. Huynh's boyfriend's surprise was a little too "good".

At first, the student from Florida thought he was an intruder who had illegally gained access to her room. In the video, however, she is only shocked for a few seconds as she sinks to the floor.

Then she quickly realizes who is really standing in her room. Shortly afterwards, they both have to laugh heartily. The TikTok audience has a similar experience and is having a great time.

In just four days, 14 million clicks and 3.6 million likes have already been accumulated. In addition, the smileys are piling up in the comments column.

Huynh explained to Newsweek this week why her boyfriend had caught her so cold.

"No one is ever in my room, so I would never expect to see a human person in my room," the 21-year-old told the US magazine.

"He pulled off the surprise by texting my roommates on Instagram the day before to open the door for him," she added.

The reason for the effort: the couple are in a long-distance relationship, several hours away from each other by car. On the evening of their reunion, they hadn't seen each other for a month.

And so it didn't take long for the initial shock to give way to great joy. Lena Huynh was finally happy to be able to embrace her sweetheart again.
