Man comes to hospital with stomach pains: what doctors find in his stomach is shocking
Bilaspur (India) - In India, a man (33) was taken to hospital by his family because he complained of abdominal problems. What doctors found during subsequent examinations is shocking!

The incident took place on January 31 in the town of Ghumarwin in Bilaspur . According to News18, the 33-year-old suffered from excruciating pain in the stomach area.
The doctors therefore carried out several tests at the hospital. An endoscopy finally clarified the situation: several coins were discovered in the Indian man's stomach.
It was immediately clear that the foreign objects that were causing the 33-year-old problems had to be removed immediately. During an operation, the Indian surgeon Dr. Ankush removed a total of 33 coins weighing 247 grams from the patient's stomach. The value of the different coins was between 1 and 20 rupees (equivalent to 0.011 euros to 0.22 euros).
The money was removed laparoscopically during the procedure. Only a few small incisions are required and the abdominal cavity does not need to be opened.
Patient suffers from mental illness
"That was a difficult case. The operation was anything but easy," recalls the attending physician. The man's stomach was "like a balloon" with coins everywhere. "In the operating room, we used CR [computed radiography, editor's note] to look for the coins and then removed them." The operation took around three hours in total.
How the coins ended up in the man's body still needs to be clarified. In the interview, Dr. Ankush explained that the 33-year-old patient was affected by schizophrenia and suffered from delusions.
