Including breathing tube: Half-naked man screams angrily outside clinic - what's going on here?
Madhya Pradesh (India) - It is a terrible worry when a loved one has to be treated in hospital. You would do anything to make them feel better again quickly. It is precisely these fears that a hospital in India is said to have played on in order to make a lot of money.

A video that is currently doing the rounds apparently shows dramatic scenes on a street in Madhya Pradesh, India. A man can be seen standing shirtless in the middle of a crowd of people and discussing excitedly.
According to News18, the Indian is said to have escaped from a clinic shortly beforehand, where he had been unlawfully held as a prisoner.
After the father of the family was admitted to Geeta Devi Hospital, the medical staff allegedly began to mislead his wife about his state of health in order to extort money from her.
The worried wife is said to have been told that her husband was in a very bad way and that she had to find more money for his treatment.

Clinic allegedly extorted a lot of money from family

The Indian woman then scraped together 50,000 rupees (the equivalent of around 530 euros) and handed it over to the private clinic.
The doctors then claimed that her husband's condition had deteriorated drastically and that he had fallen into a coma. For this reason, he had had to be transferred to the intensive care unit. Once again, they demanded money to treat him.
The desperate Indian woman raised even more money and this time returned to the hospital with 100,000 rupees (around 1060 euros). But before she could hand over the money, her husband is said to have fled - complete with medical electrodes on his bare chest, a torn access on the crook of his arm and a breathing tube on his nose.
The incident caused great outrage at the scene and on social media. Now the police have to clarify what really happened at the hospital.
