Brave four-year-old hijacks microphone after Christmas show and makes people laugh

Dallas (USA) - The grown-ups can take a leaf out of their book when it comes to self-confidence: After a Christmas performance, a little girl (4) took the microphone from the school principal. What she said afterwards made people laugh - on site and on the Internet.

Little Stori (4) confidently demanded the microphone after her class's performance. She had something important to say.

The four-year-old was part of a Christmas show at a (preschool) school in Dallas , USA. When the performance ended and the children gradually left the stage, one remained in the spotlight: little Stori.

In a viral video, you can see the girl energetically grabbing the principal's microphone and finally snatching it to share an important message with the audience.

She begins with the touching words: "I'm very proud of myself and all my other friends in my class."

"And my class is really sweet," she continues.

But what follows is certainly not what anyone expected: "Except for one little boy," Stori remarks. "I have to tell you..." she can be heard starting her sentence before the blonde principal snatches the microphone from her almost in a panic. The audience immediately bursts out laughing.

To top off her cheeky performance, the four-year-old finally struts off the stage waving and grinning mischievously.

Stori's mother, Brenna Massa, was hardly surprised by her daughter's actions: "She just has that mentality," the US-American told TODAY. "Everyone says she's an old soul who connects with people effortlessly." The girl has never been shy and loves to dance and sing.

"She's such a nice girl, but she also has this grit and confidence that goes through the roof," says Brenna. However, as a mother, she would still have been a little "shocked" when Stori unexpectedly grabbed the microphone after the Christmas show. The US-American would only have thought "Oh no" during her daughter's speech.

The video of Stori's performance went viral online and was clicked millions of times. Users celebrate the girl for her self-confidence and demand: "Give her back the microphone!"

And the boy in question?

Apparently he frightened Stori last year by making loud noises in the classroom. This incident had apparently stuck with the four-year-old. And now she had finally had the chance to express her opinion about her classmate. "Hopefully they can make up again," says Brenna with amusement.
