According to her website, Ashley Cano from the US state of Illinois is a passionate bargain hunter who loves looking for treasures in second-hand stores.
She found what she was looking for in a Goodwill store and her discovery was doubly impressive: the wedding dress, which cost the equivalent of around 17 euros, was an absolute eye-catcher and was also by the famous designer Vera Wang (75).
As a rule, the cost of a Vera Wang wedding dress can easily range from around 2000 to 10,000 euros. Some exclusive models or bespoke dresses can be even more expensive.
"Vera Freaking Wang. I can't believe I found this dress at Goodwill for 18.99 [dollars]," Ashley gloats in a video in which she shows off the garment in all its glory.
In the clip, the US-American also reveals another fact that could make the wedding dress a sensational find.
Dress is said to be from "Sex and the City" movie

Ashley believes that she has purchased the dress worn by the fictional TV character Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) in the first film of the popular show "Sex and the City". In fact, the textile looks similar to the dress that Bradshaw, among others, wore during a Vogue photo shoot. "It's Carrie Bradshaw's dress. I'm shocked," said the bargain hunter on TikTok .
The dress clip received more than 140,000 views within a few days and the creator received hundreds of inquiries. Because many "Sex and the City" fans are clamoring for the special designer piece. "This is my dream dress," enthuses one user.
Many viewers agree that Ashley could sell the dress on for a lot of money. However, the US-American is still unsure how to proceed. "Since this went viral, I've received an incredible amount of requests," she writes on TikTok.
However, she wants to offer interested parties the opportunity to try on the dress soon.
