Wrong child born: woman has to give up baby
Savannah (USA) - A woman (38) gives birth to a baby through artificial insemination (in vitro fertilization) in the US state of Georgia. A short time later, however, she loses custody.

As Daily Mail reports, Krystena Murray realized immediately after the baby was born that something was wrong.
She had chosen a white sperm donor, with blue eyes and dark blonde hair - but the child she gave birth to was dark-skinned.
A DNA test confirmed her worst suspicions: the embryo of another couple had been accidentally implanted in her uterus.
Despite the shock, Krystena quickly formed a close bond with the newborn. But the mother's happiness did not last long.
Krystena Murray lost custody of the baby

Just five months later, in May 2024, she lost custody of the child and had to hand it over to the parents - the couple who had provided the embryo.
Completely devastated, the 38-year-old filed a lawsuit against the fertility clinic on Tuesday, claiming 75,000 US dollars (around 69,750 euros) in damages for the emotional suffering caused to her by the clinic's mistake.
But Krystena is not giving up and wants to realize her dream of becoming a mother again at another clinic.
