Woman dies after being thrown from faulty revolving door: Son sues hotel
Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) - A man from the US state of California is suing the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas after his mother died. An accident with a revolving door is said to be to blame for her death.

Diana Truschke (†78) was thrown from a faulty revolving door at the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas in March 2023 and suffered serious injuries.
As a result, she had to undergo extensive treatment. She died in October of the same year, as reported by NBC .
According to her family, the death is directly related to the complications following her injury. That is why they are now taking the hotel to court.
The wrongful death lawsuit says the woman was struck by the accelerating revolving door, after which she was "violently" ejected several feet and eventually hit her face on the floor.
The fall had caused serious and permanent injuries, but these werenot described in detail .

The hotel should have taken better care of the broken door
The statement of claim also states that at the time of the accident, the revolving door was in a dangerous condition that did not comply with the law and regulations. The hotel should have known that it was not working properly.
The family is therefore demanding compensation of around 14,000 euros for the medical and funeral costs incurred.
The Trump Organization, ledby US President Donald Trump (78), to which the hotel belongs, has not yet commented on the allegations.
