The victim was locked in a hotel room for that long and tortured by the group.

As the New York Post reports, it was a cruel revenge plan by the leader of the group, Martina Jones (28).

Together with her husband Michael Esqueda (28) and her lovers Aaron Bradshaw (49), Austin Bradshaw (28), David Cessna (26) and Chance Johnston (27), she was arrested around two weeks ago in Ohio (USA) , as the police have now announced.

During the seven-day ordeal, the victim was repeatedly and brutally beaten with a baseball bat, forced to stand for hours on end and only given food and drink once a day. He was also only allowed to sleep for around ten hours over the entire week.

"His injuries were caused by blows with a baseball bat, fists, elbows and kicks while he was lying on the ground - which led to several broken bones over time," said the investigating police.

Jones had already instigated her lovers to kidnap the victim in mid-March - allegedly as revenge for a brawl that ended with her arm being broken. She told her accomplices that the man had inflicted the injury on her.

However, the abductee gave the police a completely different version of the story: according to this, a fight had broken out between two dogs in Jones' house, in which the 28-year-old sustained the injury.

The victim finally managed to escape when Jones allowed him to go to a gas station. There, he asked a stranger to contact his mother - who then rushed to him and was able to free him.

The suspects were charged last Thursday with kidnapping, three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of tampering with evidence.

The relationship between the victim and Jones - whether they were possibly lovers - is not known.
