Woman abducts child and asks police not to arrest her!
USA - After a woman abducted a three-year-old child from a fenced-in garden, she asked the police not to arrest her - with an unbelievable justification: she had finally returned the child!
When neighbors watched Pamela Monsalve (39) in the US state of Florida reach over the fence of a house, pick up a little boy and run away, they immediately called the police.
As the New York Post reported, some neighbors quickly contacted the child's mother, while others ran after the 39-year-old. This forced her to release the toddler.
A short time later, officers found the fugitive and arrested her.
During the arrest, she gave a confused explanation for her actions: "He was outside, he was naked (...) I asked people to call the police, but nobody wanted to do that. So I asked the little boy, 'Where's your mother?" and he said, 'No'."
Pamela Monsalve is being held in prison
She continued to try to justify her actions and repeatedly emphasized that she had returned the child to prevent her arrest.
Pamela Monsalve is currently in prison without the possibility of being released on bail. She has been charged with abducting a child under the age of 13 without the consent of a parent.
The police praised the quick intervention of the neighbors and emphasized that they had prevented a possible tragedy.
