Tragic incident: 20-year-old dies during questionable admission ritual
Baton Rouge (USA) - In the US state of Louisiana, a 20-year-old student died tragically after trying to join a fraternity at his university.

As Daily Mail reports, Caleb Wilson, an incoming freshman at Southern University, died on Feb. 27 after a gruesome initiation ritual at the fraternity Omega Psi Phi.
During the ceremony, Wilson was beaten with boxing gloves by Caleb McCray, a 23-year-old member of the fraternity, and two others.
However, after several blows to the chest, the 20-year-old collapsed, was unresponsive and suffered a seizure.
Although he was taken to hospital by a group of men who claimed that he had collapsed while playing basketball, the young man died shortly afterwards as a result of the blows he had suffered.
Caleb McCray must stand trial for manslaughter

The police were finally able to arrest McCray on Thursday evening. The 21-year-old is now on trial for manslaughter.
Meanwhile, Southern University is working tirelessly with investigators to solve the alleged act of hazing involving fraternity members.
On Wednesday night, hundreds gathered for an emotional vigil to honor Wilson and remember his life that ended far too soon.
