Tragedy in the Alps: 23-year-old skier found dead at the foot of a cliff

Morzine (France) - Tragic drama in the French Alps: A 23-year-old British skier was found dead at the foot of a cliff!

As the Daily Mail reports, the 23-year-old Briton was on his way back from an après-ski party in Avoriaz on Sunday when he apparently fell and tumbled down the rocks.

He had previously been skiing with friends, but then apparently lost his bearings and tried to ski down the mountain alone.

When he did not return to his accommodation, his friends reported him missing.

Search and rescue teams combed the entire area in search of the skier.

The young man was finally recovered dead on Monday morning.

The local police have begun investigating the cause of death.
