"TikTok Prime": Amazon wants to buy popular video app
Washington - The US company "Amazon" wants to buy the video app "TikTok".

The billion-dollar online mail order company submitted a last-minute offer to take over TikTok's US business, theNew York Times reported on Tuesday.
Due to national security concerns, the Chinese parent company, "ByteDance", was forced to sell by a court ruling in the USA. This deadline expired for the first time on January 19, when the lights went out at TikTok for a short time.
However, US President Donald Trump (78) personally decided to save the app full of dancing people. He extended the deadline to April 5 and potential buyers were able to submit their offer. The future of TikTok is to be discussed at the White House later on Wednesday.
According to the media report, Amazon has submitted its purchase offer directly to Vice President JD Vance (40). There has been no official confirmation from the company owned by multi-billionaire Jeff Bezos (61). The amount offered is also not yet known.
