At around 8.33 a.m., the alleged perpetrator, a 16-year-old boy, entered the premises of an Action store on the outskirts of Hradec Králové, around 100 kilometers east of the capital Prague, and attacked two of the store's employees.

Despite the immediate arrival of the emergency services, all help came too late for the victims. All efforts to save their lives failed.

"Both of those attacked suffered such serious injuries that they could not be saved despite all the efforts of the rescue services," the police announced on the social media platform X, without giving any further details about the crime.
