Single mom at a loss for words when she sees what daughter did for her birthday
Surrey (England) - A single mother from Surrey in England can hardly believe her luck. The reason for this are the birthday presents from her daughter (6), which also touched many users on TikTok.
Emily White had her big day at the end of November. As she currently has no partner, the Brit was hoping for practically nothing on her 27th birthday. But her daughter Millie saw things a little differently.
The six-year-old greeted her mother in the morning with a gift bag. When White saw her little girl like this, she was at a loss for words. While Millie sang "Happy Birthday" at the top of her lungs, the birthday girl grabbed her presents.
In the bag, White found a handwritten card decorated with all kinds of painted hearts. Inside were self-written congratulations. Her daughter had also bought her a pink robe.
"It just melted my heart," White said in an interview with Newsweek this week. "It honestly could have been a bag of moldy bananas. But to see the joy it gave her to give me a gift was so magical and precious."
But how had Millie, just six years old, managed to do all this?
TikTok video of the sweet situation goes viral
Her mother made a few remarks about this to the US magazine. Because she had already suspected something a few weeks earlier.
"She had been planning it with my father for months," White explained. She continued: "The night before, she asked me for a gift bag and spent about 40 minutes taping the bag together in her room, making excited little squeaking noises."
Millie then "hid" the bag. However, it was still clearly visible, the proud mother said about the curious situation.
Incidentally, White has been wearing the robe regularly since her birthday - it feels like she wears it in every other one of her TikTok videos. And her video, which she filmed while giving presents, has since become a viral hit with more than 900,000 clicks.
"I shared it to show how great my little girl is, that she thought about it months in advance and put so much effort into it," she says.
