Puppy watches children's program: When Bear suddenly moves towards him on TV, he reacts immediately

Brighton (England) - A big puppy: Rodney is only a few weeks old. But the cute furry friend has already landed his first viral hit on TikTok. The reason for this is his reaction to the children's show "The Bear in the Big Blue House".

In the curious clip (see below), the puppy makes himself comfortable on his owner's bed at home in Brighton, England. The 90s program is playing on the large flat-screen TV in front of him.

But then it happens: the bear seems to have smelled something. Suddenly he looks directly at Rodney, coming closer and closer. The little dog becomes more and more restless with every step he takes until he finally flees, terrified, to his owner, who takes him in giggling.

As soon as he sits with the young British woman, Rodney is braver and looks towards the TV again. Luckily for him, the bear also moves away from the lens - so we can continue in a relaxed manner.

The video was only published on November 27, but already has more than 500,000 clicks. No wonder, as the cute puppy spontaneously puts everyone in a good mood.

Newsweek wanted to find out more and spoke to her owner Katy this week.

"He's only nine weeks old and he's such a curious little thing," the Englishwoman told the US magazine. "He hasn't met any big dogs yet, but I now have an idea of how it could turn out," she added.

Rodney is a mix of Irish Setter and Poodle, so he's a so-called Irish Doodle. Apart from his TV scare, he is said to have already settled in well in his new home.

He "is already a spoiled boy, especially with his grandparents, who know how to handle those eyes," says Katy.

The four-legged friend knows how to wrap his audience around his paws anyway. His owner is correspondingly proud, who is delighted that "he puts a smile on people's faces, just like he does with us."
