Puppy hears himself in video: His reaction says it all

Madrid (Spain) - Alba's owner was prepared for sleepless nights, but she didn't know that such noises could come from a small dog.

Shocked by the sounds her little cocker spaniel was making, the Spanish dog owner decided to record them.

In a video shared on the Instagram channel "alba.thecocker", Alba's owner places her dog on her lap and plays the recording of the previous night.

And indeed: Alba was so loud that the whole house could hear it. The dog obviously couldn't believe what she was hearing. Her reactions gave the impression that she didn't know who was making the noise.

"Unfortunately, we didn't get any sleep those days," the owner told Newsweek. But she soon thought of something to help Alba.

Dogs react differently when they arrive in a new environment with unfamiliar smells and noises. Some four-legged friends find it frightening - others are excited, which makes it difficult for them to calm down.

The woman from Spain bought her dog a crate and lined it with cushions and blankets to make her pet comfortable. "I think she felt much more comfortable in the crate," says the pet owner. "We put her next to our bed and when she cried, I just put my hand on the door of the crate and she calmed down."

Now, as an adult dog, Alba sleeps "peacefully and quietly" in her new home. The Instagram video, which has been viewed more than 170,000 times, made many viewers laugh.
