Pregnant woman wonders about her baby's hard kicks: a look at the ultrasound image says it all!
Kansas City (Kansas) - What heavy kicks: Jordan Lowe (32) from Kansas was amazed when she was pregnant with her son Monty. As the little man was not her first child, she had previously had experience of being kicked by an unborn baby. But this time it was much worse. When she saw an ultrasound image of her son with her husband, everything became clear to her.
"His kicks and I guess his punches were incredibly strong when he was in the womb," Lowe said in an interview with Newsweek this week.
She had previously landed a viral hit in early January with a video on Instagram in which she presented her plight. In the clip, she asked the doctor why her son was "kicking her in the butt" so often.
Viewers then get to see an ultrasound image that really packs a punch: In the womb, little Monty is flexing his biceps like a little boxer.
She and her husband laughed out loud, the 32-year-old told the US magazine - and added: "But seeing his muscles on the scan was no surprise to me!"
When Monty, now three months old, was born, he was the source of the next funny laugh.
Viral Instagram video shows curious poses of the baby
Lowe soon realized that her baby was regularly clenching her fists and holding them in front of her like a boxer. She also included some "proof photos" in her Instagram clip, which makes it even funnier.
Since January 4, the video has already received 2.8 million clicks and more than 175,000 likes. Naturally, some users in the comments section are suggesting the obvious: Monty should get boxing lessons as soon as possible.
"Our children are still very young (...) We have agreed that they can try any activity they like. If he shows interest, we'll have to sign him up for boxing and go from there," Monty's mother told the news magazine.
But there is still a long way to go before then. By the way: even Monty has a sensitive side. Because even he prefers one thing above all: cuddling.
