Pizza delivery man goes through a snowstorm and barely gets a tip, then he gets unexpected help
Brownsburg (USA) - A dedicated pizza delivery man walked half a mile through a dangerous snowstorm to deliver his goods - only to be fobbed off with an extremely small tip.
Connor Stephanoff from the US state of Indiana did not have good weather conditions .
As he was completing a $40 pizza delivery in an affluent neighborhood of Brownsburg, the road was covered in snow and the snow plows could barely keep up with clearing it. In addition, a school bus involved in an accident was blocking the road.
In order to deliver the ordered food as quickly as possible, Connor got out of his car and walked the rest of the way.
A police officer watched Connor trudge through the snow and approached him after the delivery. "Did you get a good tip?" asked Officer Richard. "Two dollars," replied the pizza delivery man, which is the equivalent of just under two euros.
The officer was stunned: "Two dollars? Are you kidding me?" Impressed by Connor's work ethic, he gave the young man 15 dollars (just under 15 euros) and posted a video to his followers on TikTok.

"The delivery was made about a quarter of a mile behind where the bus was blocking the road. This young man didn't let that discourage him. Oh, no, this man is built differently," the police officer praised the pizza delivery man in a second video.
"In an affluent neighborhood, you should get more than a two-dollar tip." To further support Connor, the officer even announced that he was going to create a GoFundMe page - with the goal of raising $500 for the young man.
As the New York Post reported, over 16,000 dollars had already been raised after a short time - a huge financial success for the pizza delivery man.
"I think what makes this story so moving is that everyone of us who has ever worked in customer service has been Connor at some point," Connor's employer Rockstar Pizza wrote in a Facebook post. "We went above and beyond what could be asked of us and the effort went unappreciated. If it wasn't for Officer Craig, this would have been just another delivery shift for Connor."
The restaurant added that it gave its employees the option to stay home while it snowed heavily. Connor, however, chose to work. "He's a great kid who works hard and we're glad to have him," Rockstar Pizza said.
