On the way home from school: Teenager stabs 12-year-old to death

England - It is an unimaginably horrific crime: A twelve-year-old boy was stabbed to death on his way home from school - the alleged perpetrator is only 14 years old himself!

Little Leo Ross (†12) was reportedly walking through a park in Birmingham , England, on Tuesday afternoon when he was suddenly attacked with a knife and stabbed in the stomach.

As The Sun reports, police arrested a 14-year-old teenager shortly afterwards in connection with the horrific attack.

He is also suspected of previously attacking an 80-year-old woman.

Leo was on his way home from school when his life was taken from him in such a brutal way.

His principal commented: "Leo had many good friends who held him in the highest regard and he adored them too. He was a lovely, bright and valued part of our school community. (...) Our thoughts are with Leo's family and friends at this difficult time."

The police are now investigating at full speed.

"This is a horrific and senseless attack. We are doing everything we can to assist the relatives of the boy who lost his life in such a horrific way, but we know that nothing we say or do will ease their anguish," said one of the investigators.
