New Year's Eve drama: Man goes crazy in cab, but it gets much worse!
Klagenfurt (Austria) - On New Year's Eve, a 49-year-old man was driving a cab from Villach to Klagenfurt when the journey took a sinister turn. Suddenly he pulled out a knife and stabbed it wildly into the car seat while cold-bloodedly proclaiming: "Something will happen."

As reported today, a dramatic incident shortly before the turn of the year triggered a police operation in Klagenfurt when a 49-year-old man in a cab appeared extremely suspicious.
The cab driver, concerned about the man's behavior, informed the police after dropping him off at his destination address.
The emergency services immediately set off and found the man from Villach in an apartment.
The man had forced open the patio door to gain entry.
Partner attacked and injured by ex-girlfriend
The 49-year-old stabbed the 45-year-old partner of his ex-girlfriend (46) with a knife and seriously injured him in the face. The victim was immediately treated by the emergency services and taken to hospital.
The police arrested the suspect on the spot and secured the knife on the terrace. The man is being investigated for assault, damage to property, trespassing and resisting public authority.
