Meghan Markle does it herself: This is her biggest beauty fail

USA - The coronavirus pandemic has certainly led many of us to engage in curious self-experiments. Even Meghan Markle (43) couldn't hold herself back and tried to dye her hair herself - but failed miserably.

The Duchess revealed this in her podcast"Confessions of a Female Founder".

During this self-experiment, she also met her guest: Kadi Lee, the founder of haircare brand Highbrow Hippie.

According to Page Six, the Duchess said that during the height of the pandemic, she reached for a pack of drugstore hair dye to give her hair a boost of freshness.

"I thought, 'I'm going to look just like the woman on the packaging'," said the 43-year-old. But her expectations were quickly dashed.

She stated that her hair had an "inky", blue-black appearance afterwards. The royal immediately contacted her wedding stylist, who referred her to Kadi.

"And then you came over. We had masks on and all that. It was a crazy time, but I remember that day so well," Meghan added. Fortunately, the founder was able to save the hairstyle.

Even if the self-experiment was a flop, there was one good thing about the day: the 43-year-old and Kadi have been close friends since the failed dyeing attempt.

Prince Archie (5) and Princess Lilibet (3), the Duchess's children, even call her "Auntie Kadi".
