Mascot files a complaint with the police! Is ManCity superstar Haaland now facing legal trouble?
Manchester (United Kingdom) - Ouch, Erling Haaland (24) is in trouble with the law! Norway's soccer superstar has been charged with possible assault - by his own club's mascot.

According to several media outlets, it is suspected that the 24-year-old Manchester City striker gave "Moonbeam" two blows to the head. The woman, who was wearing the costume, was injured as a result.
"I was quite upset and crying, my head was throbbing and I think I was in shock," the alleged victim toldThe Sun, adding in an interview with the British tabloid: "I later realized that he had come up behind me, hit me on the head and then leaned on my head."
The incident is said to have happened in October last year.
Before kick-off of the Premier League home game against Southampton FC, the ex-BVB player allegedly hit her twice on the back of the head, causing whiplash and concussion.
After alleged beatings: Investigations exonerate Haaland

Although the club launched an investigation, it dismissed the allegations against its own player: "The club has fully investigated the incident and has concluded that none of the evidence, including CCTV footage, supports the allegation that an injury was sustained in the manner alleged," a spokesperson for the reigning champions was quoted as saying.
"We are also aware that a complaint has been made to Greater Manchester Police and no further action has been taken there either."
According to the alleged victim, there was no discussion between her and Haaland. The "Skyblues" had deliberately decided against making contact so as "not to distract him".
However, the woman no longer works for the club. After the events, she was first transferred to the ticket office before she was finally shown the door.
